Terms of Service

1. Who we are and acceptance of these Terms

enter.place (the Service) is provided by DOMUS SAPIENS LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 15319608, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom (referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”).

By creating an account, publishing a place or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What enter.place does

The Service lets owners and administrators create useful pages for physical places. A place page may contain an address, photo directions, routes, steps, map points, plans, contacts, opening hours, access information, rules and other information. Owners can create access links that expose all or selected routes, steps and information blocks to guests, couriers, drivers, contractors or other recipients.

enter.place is not a booking service, property management service, emergency service or substitute for an official map, safety instruction, professional advice or direct communication where circumstances require it.

3. Eligibility, accounts and security

• You must be at least 18 years old to create and operate an owner account.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably current.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for protecting your email account, sign-in links and authenticated session.
• You must promptly contact us if you suspect unauthorised access or misuse.
• You may not create accounts through automated or deceptive means, impersonate another person or use an account without authority.

Authentication may be provided through email magic links or a supported third-party sign-in provider. The provider’s own terms also apply to its service.

4. Current free access

The Service is currently offered without subscription charges. No paid plan, billing cycle or payment processing is part of the current Service. We may introduce paid features in the future, but we will publish separate or updated commercial terms before charging users. We will not charge a payment method merely because these Terms allow future paid features.

5. Owner content and responsibilities

Owner Content means text, addresses, photographs, plans, map points, annotations, contact information, instructions, codes, links and any other material that you upload, create or publish through the Service.

You retain ownership of your Owner Content. You are responsible for:

• having all rights, permissions and lawful grounds needed to upload, process and share it;
• keeping routes, photographs, map points, opening information, contacts, access instructions and safety information accurate and current;
• avoiding unnecessary personal, confidential, special-category or security information;
• ensuring that photographs do not unlawfully identify people, expose private interiors or reveal sensitive access details;
• choosing appropriate access settings and recipients for every link; and
• complying with applicable privacy, intellectual-property, consumer, accessibility, safety and other laws.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, translate, resize, transmit and display Owner Content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain and improve the Service and to provide the functionality you request. This licence ends when the content is deleted, subject to reasonable technical backup cycles and legal retention duties.

6. Guest links and access control

A guest link is a capability link: anyone who receives a working link may be able to open the content permitted by that link without creating an account. You are responsible for selecting the content available through each link, checking the link before sharing it and sending it only to suitable recipients.

You should revoke, deactivate, expire or reissue a link if it has reached an unintended recipient or no longer needs to work. Access controls reduce accidental disclosure but do not prevent a recipient from copying, photographing or forwarding information that they can see.

Guests must use links lawfully, must not try to bypass access controls and must not redistribute sensitive access information without authority.

7. Prohibited content and conduct

You must not use the Service to upload, publish, transmit or facilitate:

• unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing or hateful content;
• child sexual abuse material or any exploitation of a minor;
• content that infringes privacy, confidentiality, copyright, trade mark or other rights;
• malware, credential theft, phishing, unauthorised tracking, scraping or attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service;
• instructions intended to enable trespass, violence, theft or unauthorised access to a place, account or system;
• access codes, identity documents, medical information or other sensitive data without a clear lawful need and appropriate safeguards; or
• excessive automated requests, quota abuse or use that imposes unreasonable load or cost on the Service or a third-party provider.

8. Maps, geolocation, translations and third-party services

The Service uses or links to third-party services for hosting, authentication, storage, email delivery, maps, map tiles, geocoding, routing, street imagery, external navigation and machine translation. Third parties may have their own terms, privacy notices, service limits and geographic coverage.

Geolocation is requested only when a visitor uses a feature that needs their current position, such as a live map or walking route. The visitor can refuse permission. External navigation opens only after a user action.

Machine translations may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. Owners remain responsible for reviewing critical safety, access and legal information. Recipients should verify anything important with the owner rather than relying solely on a translation.

9. No guarantee of directions, accuracy or availability

Routes, steps, photographs, plans, map points, distances, travel times, translations and instructions may be outdated, incomplete or wrong. Physical conditions can change. The Service does not verify every place or item of Owner Content and does not guarantee that a route is safe, accessible, lawful or suitable for a particular person or vehicle.

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, permanent storage, availability in every country, compatibility with every device, or continued availability of a third-party service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own the Service, including its software, interface, branding, documentation and non-user content. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

You may not copy, sell, licence, distribute, modify or create derivative works from the Service, or access it to build a competing service, except where applicable law expressly allows it.

11. Suspension, content removal and account termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. The current account settings do not provide a self-service account deletion control; you may request account deletion by emailing info@enter.place.

We may restrict, suspend or terminate access, disable a link or remove content where reasonably necessary to investigate a security issue, prevent harm, comply with law, respond to a valid rights complaint, address non-payment after paid services are introduced, or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate and lawful, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue. Immediate action may be necessary for security, illegality or serious harm.

12. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may develop, replace or discontinue features as the product, law, infrastructure and third-party services change. We will consider the effect on users and will not describe a material reduction of an existing statutory or already-accrued right as retroactive where the law prohibits that result.

We may update these Terms to reflect new functionality, legal requirements, security practices, processors, analytics or commercial models. The updated document will show a new effective date and version. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the Service or the contact details associated with the account, unless urgent legal or security reasons require faster action.

Subscriptions, payment processing or paid plans will require a separate commercial update before launch, including price, billing, renewal, cancellation, refund and tax terms where applicable.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Subject to that rule and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or data, or for loss arising from Owner Content, a recipient’s use or forwarding of a link, inaccurate directions or translations, refusal of geolocation permission, or failure of a third-party service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to losses that were reasonably foreseeable when you accepted these Terms and that result directly from our breach. Mandatory consumer protections and remedies remain unaffected.

14. Governing law and courts

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that a consumer may also have rights to bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence where mandatory law provides this.

15. General terms and contact

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a lawful reorganisation, financing or sale of the Service while preserving applicable user rights.
