Scout Terms

1. Parties and acceptance

These Scout Terms are an agreement between DOMUS SAPIENS LTD, company number 15319608, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom, and the adult or legal entity that enrols as a Scout. The Terms apply when the Scout accepts the current version in enter.place.

2. What a Scout does

A Scout may independently identify a business, create a proposed place or demonstration route, and share the unique claim or referral link generated for that place. The business chooses whether to claim the place and buy its own subscription.

A Scout does not sell a subscription on behalf of enter.place, collect customer money, negotiate contractual terms, promise outcomes, or represent that they can bind DOMUS SAPIENS LTD. A Scout must describe the product and prices accurately and must not pressure or mislead a potential customer.

3. Independent activity

The Scout chooses whether, when and where to participate, uses their own equipment and bears their own ordinary costs. There is no guaranteed work, minimum activity or salary. A Scout may provide services to others and may stop participating at any time.

The label 'independent' does not by itself determine employment or tax status. The real relationship and applicable law control. Each Scout is responsible for checking their local registration, tax, social-security, invoicing and reporting duties. DOMUS SAPIENS LTD may make legally required deductions or reports.

4. Attribution

A reward can arise only from the exact place linked to the Scout. Attribution locks when the owner accepts the place transfer or claim through that link. Another Scout cannot later take over that accepted place. If two Scouts independently create two different places and the customer buys both, each subscription is assessed separately.

A Scout has no reward claim for an account, person or business generally, or for a different place that was not attributed through the Scout's own valid link.

5. Reward rules

• Monthly plan: EUR 5 after each of the first three genuinely paid monthly invoices for the attributed place, while the subscription remains eligible.
• Annual plan: EUR 20 once after the first genuinely paid annual invoice for the attributed place.
• A trial, zero-value invoice, failed payment, duplicate payment, refunded amount, disputed amount or payment obtained through abuse does not earn a reward.
• A reward remains pending for at least 14 full days after payment and becomes available only if no refund, chargeback, fraud hold or account restriction applies.
• The reward for a payment will never exceed the eligible amount that the payment economics and applicable tax permit.

6. Payouts, fees and tax information

Available rewards are shown in enter.place. Before receiving money, the Scout must complete the identity, bank, country and tax information requested through the approved Stripe payout flow. Stripe's availability, verification, local currency, minimums, fees and processing times vary by recipient country.

The intended reward values above are stated in EUR. DOMUS SAPIENS LTD currently intends to bear the ordinary payout fee already allowed for in the reward calculation. A bank or intermediary may still impose its own receiving or conversion charge outside our control.

7. Refunds, disputes and negative balance

A refund or chargeback cancels the connected reward. If the reward has already been paid, the amount becomes a negative Scout balance and may be withheld from later rewards. DOMUS SAPIENS LTD may request repayment where later rewards are insufficient, particularly in cases of fraud or deliberate abuse.

8. Prohibited conduct and risk review

Shared cards, billing emails, devices, networks or unusual registration patterns can trigger a review but are not treated as proof by themselves. A legitimate owner may pay for several places with one card. We may delay or freeze payouts while related accounts, payment evidence and product use are reviewed.

• self-referral or disguising the Scout as an independent customer;
• creating fake businesses, places, customers, routes, subscriptions or product use;
• coordinating a payment followed by a planned refund or chargeback;
• using another person's identity, email, card, bank or tax details without authority;
• spam, unlawful entry, trespass, deceptive photography or collection of unnecessary personal or security information;
• attempting to bypass attribution, duplicate, verification, payout or risk controls.

9. Status and termination

A Scout can be active, suspended or blocked. Suspension pauses new reward availability or payouts during review. Blocking ends participation for serious or repeated abuse. We will give a reason and an opportunity to provide relevant information where appropriate, unless security, law or fraud prevention requires immediate action or limited disclosure.

Either party may end participation. Valid rewards already available remain payable unless they are reversed, offset, legally withheld or connected to a breach. Terms concerning fraud, repayment, tax, records, disputes and liability survive termination where necessary.

10. Content, confidentiality and privacy

The Scout must have permission to take and upload photographs and must avoid faces, access codes, private interiors and confidential information unless there is a lawful, necessary and authorised reason. Place content remains governed by the Terms of Service. Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes and governing law

We may change future reward rules or these Terms after clear notice. A reduction does not retroactively reduce a reward already earned under the rules that applied to its payment. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory rights that apply in the Scout's country.
